Repertoire: Piano

    Students perform 3 pieces from memory. No Repeats. Choose contrasting numbers to show versatility:
  1. Levels 1-4: Performance time not to exceed 5 minutes.
  2. Levels 5-8: Performance time not to exceed 10 minutes. Selections should represent 3 musical periods.
  3. Levels 9-12: Performance time not to exceed 16 minutes. Selections should represent 3 musical periods.
    An ensemble may be programmed in lieu of one the solo pieces:
  1. An ensemble may include a duet or duo, or piano part of vocal or instrumental solo.
  2. Evaluation should reflect the ensemble as a whole with special attention to PEP piano participant. Judge should have score for each part.
  3. Ensemble shall be included as part of requirement for pieces in 3 contrasting style periods.
